This is what makes ‘SukoonPeace’ so unique!
Our Approach
By adapting a combination of practises with the spirituality of voice that comes from a South Asian root containing musical notes from scales known as RAAG, SukoonPeace offers something that is quite unique.
It is an accepted fact that these scales, their frequencies, tones, vibrations coupled with movement, breath-work, stretches have healing, spiritual, emotional and calming effects.
In SukoonPeace, has developed various sessions using guided meditation, breathwork, silent meditation, dialogue, simple stretches, body warm-ups which include combined chair-based exercises with meditation, interactive vocal sounds, exercises and singing. Additionally, ethereal vocal expression based on the South Asian Raag based scales will also be incorporated into these sessions.
So, if you are ready to take the next step, then we invite you to register and attend for our sessions, where, together we will dive deeper into understanding your mind, body, and soul.
Remember, peace is within you and through voice and breath we look forward to sharing and guiding you on your journey to total well-being.

Find voice through meditation & spirituality
A personal note from Najma Akhtar
There are many unique stages to the ‘Sukoon’ (Peace) journey.
To build, nurture, guide, help, and introduce you gently to the world of spiritual voice, frequencies and vibrations. One does not need to have ability to sing just be who you are with an intention to find tranquillity and harmony.
As a vocalist, I want to help you find your voice and yourself in gradual stages that is within your own personal need.
You may say, ‘ooh I know all this’ or ‘I have done so many vocal healing sessions before’, so why would this be so different’?
What I would have to say that I will speak and share from all my experiences both good and bad.
This is why, for me, it is a spiritual journey, a journey to discover yourself, a journey to unfold or to reveal what is hidden within your ability to express yourself spiritually, mentally and physically through your own voice.
One does not have to be a singer but to have the intention to learn, find, and discover your hidden inner vibrations and expression through ethereal vocal in a South Asian vocal style.
This will not happen overnight and will not happen in a few sessions. It is a gradual learning process that begins with breath, meditation and continuous Riyaz (practise).
This is something that I have personally practised over the years and I feel that I am ready to share my journey and experiences with you.
I am inviting you on a spiritual journey to finding “SukoonPeace” – a calming journey which leads to that profound inner peace and blissful relaxation that we all crave for in our busy lives."
